Help Us Nourish the Future

Together, we can strengthen every child’s potential

One Cup of Milk a Day is a structured child nutrition initiative addressing the high burden of undernutrition in Nigeria. We provide a safe, daily serving of milk to preschool and primary school children, improving growth, learning outcomes, and community wellbeing. Beginning with a pilot in one school, the program is designed for scalability and long-term integration into national school feeding efforts, with the goal of reaching over one million children nationwide.

Help is Our Goal

Why This Matters

Nutrition

Undernutrition affects 1 in 3 Nigerian children under five, and milk provides the essential protein, calcium, and vitamins needed for healthy growth and strong immunity.

Education

A daily cup of milk helps increase school attendance and classroom concentration, giving children a better chance to learn and thrive.

Community

By engaging parents, teachers, and volunteers, the program strengthens local ownership, builds trust, and fosters sustainable solutions.

Equity

Girls and children with disabilities are intentionally included, ensuring that every child has an equal opportunity to benefit.

Fighting stunting, building resilience

One in three Nigerian children under five is stunted due to poor nutrition. Milk is one of the most complete, affordable sources of protein, calcium, and essential vitamins, yet remains out of reach for many families. Our initiative closes this gap—ensuring children grow healthier, stronger, and ready to learn.

Program steps

From one school to one million children.

Our journey begins with a single pilot school, serving 50 children with one safe cup of milk each day. But this is only the first step in a much larger mission. The pilot allows us to refine our processes, validate costs, and measure impact with precision. From there, we scale to 10 schools reaching 1,000 children, and then to 50 schools serving more than 10,000. The ultimate vision is full integration into Nigeria’s national school feeding program, ensuring over one million children have access to daily nutrition. Every stage of growth is intentional—community-driven, supported by data, and built for long-term sustainability. By starting small and scaling smart, we are laying the foundation for a healthier, more educated generation and a stronger future for Nigeria.
